In 1929, our founder, Edwin Jordan-Knox saw a unique opportunity in the flooring industry. His vision was to bring the finest Area Rugs from the corners of Asia and offer them in one location. He opened the first Jordans Store in South Vancouver and soon became the market leader.
Jordans has since become Western Canada's preeminent Floor Covering Stores, leading the way with innovation and trend setting ideas.
Jordans went on to create Jordans Interiors to showcase quality home furnishings from the world's most luxurious manufacturers.
Jordans Interiors is now the prominent home furnishing retailer, with exclusive designs from Tufenkian, Stickley, Theodore Alexander and many more.
After years of success, David Jordan-Knox, grandson of Edwin and current President launched a new era with a new flagship store at 1470 West Broadway.
This store successfully combines Fine Furnishings and Floor Coverings under one roof as well as our Head Office.
Today, Jordans has 9 unique divisions offering different products and services. We are now at 17 retail locations throughout Western Canada.
After all this success, the family tradition of Jordans lives on more than 90 years later. We continue to share our passion for interior design and create trends in the flooring and home furnishing industry.
